Authentication Settings

Authentication Settings allow administrators to configure security options for user access.

Two-Factor Authentication

Enable or disable two-factor authentication:

  1. Navigate to Server Settings
  2. Find the Enforce two-factor authentication toggle
  3. Click to turn it ON (blue) or OFF (gray)

When enabled, users could choose to use two-factor authentication during login.

Supported Authentication Methods

  • Authenticator Apps: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy
  • Email Verification: One-time codes sent to email

Security Tips

  • Use authenticator apps for better security than email verification
  • Review authentication logs regularly
  • Provide users with recovery options in case they lose access to authentication devices
