Remote Desktop allows you to securely connect to your managed device’s graphical desktop environment directly through the EdgeGO web interface, providing full visual access to device screens without requiring separate VNC clients or physical device access.
⚠️ Important Note: The current version of Remote Desktop requires the target device to have a physical monitor connected to function properly.

Accessing Remote Desktop
Step 1: Navigate to Device List
Go to the Devices section from the main navigation menu.
Step 2: Select Device
Locate your target device and click the Operation button.
Step 3: Launch Remote Desktop
In the operations panel, click Remote Desktop then Submit.
A new browser window will open to establish the secure connection. If blocked, check your browser’s popup settings.
Step 4: Handle Security Certificate
If you encounter a certificate warning, click Advanced then Proceed to [site] (unsafe) to continue with the self-signed certificate.


Step 5: Connect to Desktop
Once the connection is established, you’ll see the device’s desktop interface. You can now interact with the device as if you were using it directly.
